  • St Stephen's Church Gloucester Road London, England United Kingdom (map)

The Brandenburg Festival welcomes back The Rodolfus Choir for a concert titled 'Sing Joyfully,' which certainly describes a typical "Rods" performance.

Lasting an hour, the repertoire is carefully selected to demonstrate the far-reaching influence of William Byrd.

O gloriosa Domina | Zieleński
Sepulto Domino | Gorczycki
Remember not Lord our offences | Purcell

Though Amaryllis dance in green | Byrd
As Vesta was | Weelkes
Flora Gave Me | Ralph Allwood
My soul there is a country | Parry
Never weather beaten sail | Parry
There is an old belief | Parry
My heart O God | Lucy Walker

The Rodolfus Choir is a leading UK youth choir for young people aged 16-23, conducted by Elinor Cooper and Ralph Allwood.

“Unspeakably beautiful, a truly memorable performance. The Rodolfus Choir rises above the technical challenges to convey a sense of radiance and elation that is indelibly memorable. Exemplary in every respect.”
